You Are Your Own Business

If you want to start your own business than use your job to pay for it meaning every time you get paid set aside a percentage of that for the start-up cost your business if you’re going to work hard for someone let that someone be you! The sky is the limit and never let anyone tell you it can’t be done because with God all things are possible.

In my honest opinion, it’s best to start your own business because think about it. There are so many people working so hard for other people making their companies successful, so why not put that same effort into starting and building your own? You might be thinking, “Here I am, spending all my time working hard for these people and they can get rid of me whenever they want. If I have my own business, I don’t have to put up with any drama from the bosses or any employees, either.” You can say that but here’s the real deal. If anybody don’t want to hire you, do yourself a favor. APPLY YOURSELF!  Don’t worry if the money will come slowly because it’s only natural, for your job, and right now at this very moment, it’s your job to trust God with the impossibilities and you deal with the possibilities.

Take notes because I’m going to give you some lessons for you to learn and hopefully it’ll inspire you.

First, you meet know and understand that competition is for the weak. You can NEVER compare yourself or your brand to anyone else! You only won because you want to see yourself win not because of what you see no one else has or doing. It takes a certain amount of hustle to win.

According to the writer of Fabulosity, Kimora Lee Simmons, she states that you mustn’t let someone tell you that your idea for a new business or your vision of a new form of creativity is too out-there. If you think of it, almost certainly, someone else out there will respond to it.

Of course, Confidence is most important. But if you’re shy, get the hell over it: You’re slamming the door in your own face. Learn to expect much of yourself and screw what others think of you! That’s what it’s called being Independent.

Another thing you must know and understand that when it comes to money, here are the 3 things you must do.

  1. Never let someone else control your dough.
  2. Save before you spend.
  3. If you don’t understand money, you will always be a slave to it.

What Kimora is saying is to “Don’t let anyone cash in on your game” is ultimately about you making the money so for yourself. And if you respect yourself enough to be businesslike about it– not chasing after the glamour like a teenager or letting people take advantage of you because you’re attitude’s so casual–you’ll get respect in return.

About what was being said about branding, know this. Brand yourself well. Make your logo something that people recognize and respond to. Don’t get it twisted, but Kimora is truly keeping it real!

Take it from Ms. Rika Dime.

Whatever you do, always hungry and never be thirsty! Realize that YOU ARE THE BOSS! So boss yourself up enough to empower yourself with the right tools and the right people, never become settled or get comfortable. Just pray, stay focus, remain humble, and things will come together because there’s always room for improvement.

Real talk!!!
